There's nothing more classic than a white button-up, but sometimes old classics are more fun with a twist. Make Me Chic recently sent over this white collared top with a hi-low hem ($24), and I'm loving the drama and volume it brings to an otherwise everyday look. So much more fun than my usual winter layers!
I took the top out for a spin last Saturday, rocking it with a pair of skinny jeans ($20, from Mango Outlet) and a cropped sweater, which is actually part of a cute $27 matching set from Tobi (last worn here!). I'm a huge fan of coordinating sets, btw--tons of opportunities to mix and match, and the fact that I could wear this one to a New Year's Eve party, and then re-purpose it a month later as part of a weekend brunch look is a huge plus. :)
I accessorized the look with a few basics, including my fave over-the-knee boots from Amazon (purchased a while ago for roughly $40, though the price is currently at around $46), a pair of $10 street vendor sunnies and a black crossbody that came c/o Furla. Head to toe, the whole look came out to around $121.
