Sometimes less is more, but other times, more is best. This top, which came c/o SheIn, combines three of my fave summer trends--stripes, bell sleeves and an off-the-shoulder neckline--and balances it all perfectly. Plus, it's currently on sale for just $21! Along with being on-triple-trend, I love how flowy and light it is--perfect for the hot, humid weather we're currently having in NYC.
I paired the striped SheIn top with a pair of white skinny jeans, which I scored of eBay for around $18. (Since I always have trouble finding jeans the right length, I've found it's easier to buy a pair for cheap, then cut them myself, leaving the hems raw.) Though the link to the exact jeans I purchased has expired, I found this very similar pair for just $17 on SheIn.
I finished off the look with a pair of gifted sunnies and a pair of white mules, which came c/o Dorothy Perkins, along with a gifted blue backpack. Since the majority of this look was gifted, it's tough to come up with head-to-toe cost on this one, but with the top + similar white jeans to be had for well under $25 each, safe to say it's still a pretty darn thrity OOTD. :)
