March can make drive a person a little crazy sometimes, no? Spring seems so close you can almost taste it, with a day here or there in the 50s, maybe EVEN the low 60s, but then BAM, spring is like "lol, jk," and the next thing you know you're bundled up again and complaining about the cold.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is one of the last winter looks I'll be posting, since it looks like we might actually be turning the corner into spring, but who knows. In the meantime, I'll keep on keeping on with my layered OOTDs, starting with this black and white and tan combo I wore a few weekends ago while headed to brunch on the UES.
I kicked things off with a couple of basics--some black high-waisted jeans ($14 from eBay) and a black and white striped long sleeve tee from H&M (also $14). I added a snug marled cardigan from Forever 21 (a recent sale buy, just $7! Similar ones here and here.) and layered over it with my go-to camel coat ($20, from the Salvation Army Coat Sale).
I finished off the look with a pair of leather Chelsea boots from Dorothy Perkins ($67, a suede version here), and adding in a gifted leather tote bag, the whole look came out to $122.
