Please pardon the recent radio silence--just got back from a week-long vacay in Thailand, and I'm getting back into the swing of things! Hoping to get a recap of the trip up soon, but in the meantime, wanted to share this travel-ready look, designed for maximum comfort during my 20-plus-hour flight without totally sacrificing style.
Of course, my fave part of this outfit is this burgundy velvet bomber, which was sent c/o Make Me Chic. They've been hitting it out of the park with the bomber jackets lately, and this one is no exception--it's super soft and luxe, and the heavy velvet helps keep the cold at bay. Best part is it's a total steal on sale for $27. (It's currently sold out in most sizes, but while waiting for the restock, Make Me Chic has a few other budget-friendly velvet bombers here, here and here!)
I paired the bomber with a thrifted gray tank, scored for just under $5, and a pair of mesh-paneled leggings from TJ Maxx for $17. (Linking to a similar pair for just $20 below!) And since I was going for major comfiness, I opted for wearing my Nike Roshe One sneakers, which I scored with a $20-off discount at Finish Line for around $55, but are currently available at Nike.com for $75 (link below). I finished off the look with a pair of $6 street vendor sunnies and a beanie from Joe Fresh, scored last year on sale for $7. Head to toe, the whole look came out to $117.
