Feeling super rested and refreshed after the long holiday weekend--spent most of my time catching up with family, working on some blog stuff and lounging around on the couch. I also finally had time to squeeze in a visit to the MoMA, which is on that endless list of things that I, as a NYer lucky to be surrounded by so much cultural capital, should really do more often. With the weather drizzly and chilly that day, I kept things casual in some loose denim, a $24 street market buy from a trip to Korea.
I added a classic striped long-sleeve from H&M ($14, similar here for $13) and a vintage camel coat ($20 from The Salvation Army). I'm pretty obsessed with this coat--been wearing it non-stop for several winters now--but if you haven't been able to find one at a thrift or vintage shop, I found a few gems online, including this one for $60, this one for $45 and this one for just $35.
I finished off the look with a pair of Nike sneakers ($55, after using a $20-off coupon at Finish Line), which are available here for $75 (and currently on sale online for Cyber Monday w/ code!) and a black velvet choker (similar here for $6), and then topped it all off with a beanie from Joe Fresh (purchased last year on sale for $7, and similar here for $12). With my $10 street vendor sunnies, the whole look came out to around $136.
