After a crazy busy work week, I had to put the blog on the back burner the past few days, but I'm back and feeling a whole lot more inspired to style and post. Of course, after a week of stressing, the last thing you wanna do is throw on anything fussy or fancy when the weekend hits, so naturally I found myself in a combo of basic denim and cozy once Saturday hit. These high-waisted, loose-fit denim pants with a raw hem pretty much scream 'weekend', and they were a $24 buy from the streets of Hongdae in South Korea.
I topped off my off-duty look with a comfy tank that came c/o TSquared, a new company specializing in super-luxe basics that also promises two-hour delivery in NYC (seriously!). And while it's definitely a little more than I'd typically spend on a tank, I gotta say, the super-soft fabric, perfect cut and two-hour right-to-your-door-ness make it a nice splurge on those treat-yo-self days. And as someone who consistently wears out her cheap basics, it's nice to have a perfect ribbed tank that can withstand a bunch of washes...
To keep warm, I added an oversized knit cardigan, which I thrifted for $10 from Goodwill, and a black beanie, which was a just-under-$7 sale score from Joe Fresh (they're all outta black, but they've still got the pink and teal versions in stock!).
I finished off the look with a pair of sunnies c/o WowVintage, a gifted black bag and my new fave pair of Primark booties ($26), which I've been rocking non-stop this winter. Head to toe, the whole look came out to around $67.
