I've never been one to dress super sporty, but I can definitely appreciate the athletic-inspired looks that have been gracing the fashion blogs lately. Inspired by all the sporty sneaker looks I've seen popping up, I decided to finally invest in a new pair (bringing my sneaker collection to a total of two pairs, haha), utilizing a $20-off Finish Line coupon to score a pair of black Roshe Ones for around $50.
On a busy day running errands last weekend, I took my new shoes for a spin, and I felt dumb for not purchasing them wayyy sooner--they make me feel like I'm walking on a soft foam mattress, and are perfect for trekking all over the city. Man, I wish I had had them years ago! I paired my Roshe Ones with some tie-dye-like leggings, which I snagged for $0 at a recent clothing swap, and a couple of layered tanks, each purchased for a $2-$3 bucks apiece. I finished off the look with a pair of mirrored sunnies, which were a $9 Ebay find. Head-to-toe, the whole sporty ensemble came out to around $64.
