Hey guys! I've been on a bit of a hiatus this week--sorry for being MIA! I spent most of the holiday weekend catching up with family, and THEN catching up on sleep and work at the start of this week. Ugh. But I finally got around to uploading these pics from a sunny, spring-like day last week, when it was actually warm enough to walk around with an un-buttoned coat. And of course, Koko was definitely happy not to have to wear a coat at all.
Incidentally, my spring workday look included a lot of gifted items (so thankful I have friends and family with amazing taste!) , including a silver purse and silver flats that were both Christmas presents from my mom and, like all great gifts, are items I probably never would have splurged on on my own. I also rocked this gorge blue and white printed blouse, which was a birthday gift from blogger buddy Sunita V. It's perfect for spring and summer, and I'm excited to wear it more often now that it's warming up.
Along with all the gifted pieces, I also wore my trusty old gray coat ($20, from the Salvation Army Coat Sale) and a pair of black stretch pants, scored for just $0.99 from ThredUp. I finished off the look with a silver necklace ($4, from a friend's closet clean-out sale) and a pair of $6 street vendor sunnies. Minus the priceless gifts, the look came out to $31.
