Hey guys! I'm super excited to share this adorable dress, which was sent to me c/o eShakti, an online clothing retailer. If you haven't heard of them, they specialize in customized clothing, meaning that each item can be perfectly tailored to fit your size and style preferences. Which also sounds pricey, right? Wrong. eShakti is actually surprisingly affordable--the vast majority of pieces are priced well under $100, and there are a ton of selections under $50, which is definitely a steal when it comes to custom-made clothing. Another bonus: the site caters to a range of body types, also offering standard sizes 0-36W.
It was tough to pick just one eShakti piece to order, since there are a TON of options, but I eventually settled on this abstract tulip-print dress, which seemed perfect for spring. Before checkout, the site prompts you to put in your measurements for a custom order, asking for your height, bust, hip and waist measurements, etc. (Luckily, eShakti also offers instructions on HOW to measure everything properly, since I was clueless!) For this dress, I was also offered the option to change up the neckline, sleeves and length, though I opted to keep it "as pictured."
The dress arrived super fast, and the printed fabric looked even brighter and more vibrant in person. Plus, it came fully-lined AND had pockets, which was a nice surprise. Oh, and it fit like a dream. I could definitely get used to this customized clothing business! I took my eShakti dress out for the first time last week, pairing it with a vintage lavender belt ($0.99 from Goodwill), my nude heels ($5, Cauz for Pawz) and minimal accessories to balance out the funky print.
If you wanna try eShakti out, now's as good a time as any--the site is currently offering up to 40% off sitewide, and if you're a new customer, you can register to their email list and get a $40 gift card in exchange. (I'm already eyeing a couple of potential purchases, including this graphic print dress and this adorable gingham dress!) Happy hunting! xoxo
