Hey guys! We finally hit 70 degrees over the weekend, and it had been so long, I'd forgotten what the heat feels like. Obviously, it was GREAT, but it only took one trip on the subway to remind me just how hot and sticky things can get in the city, even on a temperate day like last Saturday. So when things start warming up, I pull out my lightest, most comfortable pieces to stay nice and cool--including this white top c/o Dorothy Perkins (last worn here!).
I paired the top with another comfy staple--a pair of printed JCrew joggers I scored for free at last year's Ethical Writers' clothing swap. (Get tix for the group's next clothing swap in Brooklyn here!) Finally, I kept the whole thing minimal with a pair of borrowed sunnies from blogger buddy Sunita V., and a pair of white mules, also c/o Dorothy Perkins. (The white pair appear to be sold out, but you can grab identical gray, black and brown versions for just $35. They're super comfy to walk in!) Pretty much the perfect look for what was definitely perfect weather. :)
