Vest Dressed

Remember this Reformation wrap dress ($40) from last week's post? I decided to re-style it this weekend, opting to rock it as a long vest instead of a dress for Saturday's "Best of Spring" sale at Housing Works' Yorkville shop.

Even though the sun was out, it was far from feeling like spring, so I layered the dress/vest over a warm turtleneck (also worn here!) and a pair of thick black trousers, both 99-cent finds from a recent ThredUp sale. Since all three pieces were pretty simple on their own, I spiced things up with a Eugenia Kim hat (gifted), and a gorgeous BaubleBar necklace (also gifted!).

I finished off the look with a pair of $6 sunnies and my $45 Dorothy Perkins boots (which I've been wearing non-stop all winter, like here and here!), bringing the total outfit cost to just $73.

Oh, shout out to the sweet dog that offered to model with me! She was very professional and knew how to look directly at the camera, unlike my usual dog model, haha. And P.S., if you missed last weekend's "Best of Spring" event, don't despair--the next one is this evening at Housing Works' Columbus & 74th store, from 5-8pm. If you're in NYC, don't miss it!
