I'm back in NYC after a sunny weekend touring Texas, and I'm already regretting my decision to return. It's too damn cold, and after enjoying a perfect, breezy 75-degree day in Austin, I'm left wondering, why do I do this to myself?? This being the arctic wind tunnel called NYC, of course.
Naturally, I used my extended weekend getaway to try out a few spring-ready looks I've been dreaming about all winter, including this blue cropped pant and white mesh top combo. (Because what else would you wear to go get Texas BBQ other than a white top?!? Haha, just kidding--terrible idea.) The mesh top (also worn here!) came c/o Dorothy Perkins, one of my fave UK retailers, while the light blue capris were part of my recent 99-cent Thredup haul, and yes, were just 99 cents (!).
I paired the pants and top with a silver necklace ($4, from a friend's recent closet sale), and a pair of nude heels ($5 from Cauz for Pawz). With a pair of $6 street vendor sunnies, the whole head-to-toe look came out to just around $16.
