Me And Ja-Vie

After celebrating Thanksgiving with the fam upstate, I headed back to the city on Sunday, and snapped a few photos of this road-trip friendly look, featuring a pair of the comfiest flats I've ever worn, c/o Ja-Vie. Seriously, I've NEVER had a pair of flats that didn't need at least a day or two of breaking in before I could walk all over the city in them, but this leopard-print pair definitely surprised me. No break-in period necessary! Oh, and they're also waterproof, which is a huge plus, and makes them worth the extra bucks, in my opinion.

I paired my classic Ja-Vie flats with an equally-classic vintage camel coat, scored for $20 from the Salvation Army (last worn here) and a simple white turtleneck that was just $0.99 during a sale on ThredUp

I finished off the look with a pair of black denim pants ($14 from eBay) and some $6 street vendor sunnies, the whole head-to-toe look came out to around $35.
