Whenever I've got a long holiday break, I try to cross a couple things off my NYC bucket list, which is basically an infinite list of fun activities I'd like to do in the city, but never seem to have the time for. So over the past weekend, my fiance Chris and I ventured out to MOMA PS1 in Long Island City to soak in a little culture. Unlike some of the bigger museums in Manhattan, PS1 is the perfect size to take in in a single afternoon, and the fact that it's housed in a former school (NYC's first public school in fact!) makes the experience super unique.
It was bitter cold out, so I made sure to layer up with a denim button up (scored for free from a clothing swap!) and a cozy knit sweater, which was just $3 from Sun Thrift Shop (27-16 Queens Plaza South) in Long Island City.
