Things have been a little quiet on the blog lately, due to a busy weekend, a slight cold and some bad weather. But a Monday night snowstorm kept me outta the office yesterday, and I was able to snap a few pics in this thrifted dress after lunch. I had originally purchased the dress as a spring/summer piece to look forward to, but because the white polka-dot print reminded me of falling snow, I was inspired to take it out for an early debut.
I scored the chambray and lace dress for just $6 from the Salvation Army, pairing it with a white cable knit sweater (cost unknown, Forever 21) and my black hat ($10, from a boutique in Queens).
I finished off the look with a pair of tights and my Dorothy Perkins Chelsea boots ($67), bringing the whole snow day ensemble to $83.
