So even though Labor Day kinda marks the end of summer, the weather's been heating up here in NYC, and the last few days have been especially gross. But despite the heat, I decided to try my hand at some light layering on Saturday, just because. I guess I'm subconsciously trying to wear in all the summer clothing I've barely worn before it's too late??
I figured I had to rock this cute vintage blue skirt (scored during a trip to an Orlando Goodwill for $2) before the season was over, so I paired it with a simple black tank (cost unknown) and the black-and-white button-up (also worn here) I purchased from Underground Thrift's Stuff A Sack sale for what boiled down to $1.50.
I added my black wedges ($35, TJ Maxx), plus a black bag ($5) and silver necklace ($4) from my friend's closet clear-out, bringing the head-to-toe outfit to just under $48.
