According to some people, sweatpants send the message that you've given up, but I beg to differ. Sweatpants can be totally chic when paired with the right pieces, as demonstrated by this budget-friendly look I threw together last week.
I found these black H&M sweats and the black-and-white button-up at Underground Thrift's most recent Stuff A Sack sale, and since I scored 17 items for $25, both came out to roughly $1.50 apiece. To further class up the look, I added a gifted gold choker from BaubleBar and some street vendor sunnies ($6), and finished it all off with my go-to pair of classic black pumps ($25, Rena Reborn). Head to toe, the whole thing came out to just $34.
And P.S., sorry things have been a bit quiet on the blog front lately--I've been coordinating a move this month, so things are a bit crazy, especially since half my wardrobe is currently in boxes! Hope all you thrifters have a great Fourth of July, and I'll be back after the break. XOXO!
