Happy Friday! This summer has been unusually busy and stressful so far, and it's been tough to carve out time for some R&R during the hectic workweek. I was able to chill a little on Tuesday, however, when I met up with blogger buddy Sunita V. at Paley Park, a quiet little courtyard oasis in the middle of crazy midtown Manhattan.
Since the park offered plenty of cool shade and an amazing waterfall, we decided it was the perfect spot to snap some pics. My mid-week look consisted of a thrifted gray dress, which I found at the Upper West Side Goodwill for $12.99. I wore the dress to work earlier that day, but spiced it up a bit for the post-work hangout with some silver heels ($1, from Cure Thrift Shop's dollar sale) and a gorgeous gifted BaubleBar necklace (unfortunately, it's sold out online, but you can get on the waitlist to purchase the same one for $36 here). Head to toe, the look came out to $14.
Also, before I sign off for the weekend, just a heads up to all you NYC thrifters that Brooklyn Heights' Underground Thrift Store is having its $25 Stuff A Sack sale this Sunday (6/22) and next Sunday (6/29), starting at 12:30. (You can read a recap of the last Stuff A Sack sale I attended here. Not to brag, but I totally scored this Marc Jacobs dress for what boiled down to $1.50!) Happy Hunting!
