It's only Monday, and I'm already exhausted! My weekend was pretty eventful, kicking off with Saturday's dollar sale at Cure Thrift Shop in the East Village. Sunita V. and I hit the sale early and found a couple of gems, then met up with friends (including Brazilian blogger The Tropicalista!) for brunch at Cafe Orlin. Afterwards, we roamed SoHo, Washington Square Park and the West Village, where we stopped to do an impromptu photoshoot.
Since all of this entailed a LOT of walking, I was happy I had stuck with a comfy pair of stretchy H&M-branded ikat printed pants scored at Goodwill for $7.50. I added a black tank ($4, The Sharing Place Thrift Store) and my bright red blazer ($7.50, Forever 21) to the look, and finished off the outfit with my black ankle boots ($6.50, Housing Works Tribeca). Head to toe, the whole look came out to $25.50.
