Happy Friday thrifters! Last weekend was so action packed I'm still swamped with a backlog of photos, but I definitely wanted to share a few snapshots from a friend's brunch party last Saturday. Unfortunately, the weather has since taken a turn for the worse (it's been in the 30s most mornings this week, ugh), and so I'll probably spend more of this weekend holed up at home.
On sunny Saturday last week, however, I headed to Sunset Park, Brooklyn, where my friend lives in an adorable apartment on a beautiful tree-lined, brownstone block. We drank cocktails and munched on an insane amount of brunch food, including fruit, croissants, breakfast tacos, a baked egg casserole and pancakes. Koko even got a friend to play with--a cute little chihuahua named Kimchi!
Since the number-one order of the day was to chill and catch up with friends, I wore a simple white cotton tee (cost unknown) and a pair of boyfriend jeans scored at Unique Thrift Store for $7. Plus, I finally got a chance to rock the super-comfy jelly gladiator sandals I found in the Cauz for Pawz bargain basement for just $5.
To accessorize, I threw on a gifted BaubleBar necklace, and some borrowed sunnies a friend thrifted from Brick Lane on a recent trip to London. Head to toe, the whole look came out to around $12.
Also, just a reminder that tomorrow (Saturday, April 19th) is Buffalo Exchange's Dollar Sale! Happening across all Buffalo Exchange locations, the sale's proceeds will benefit the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in honor of Earth Day. You can get more info here. Happy hunting!
