One my favorite things to wear during cold weather (and yes, it's unfortunately still that cold) is a thick, oversized sweater. Luckily, thrift stores are positively teeming with sweaters in size XXXL, which are perfect for pairing with some leggings and a pair of comfy boots.
On Sunday, while running errands in the city, I went for comfy and warm with a super-thick brown sweater I found during my trip to Goodwill Orlando for $0.85 (last worn here). I paired the knit with a pair of black stretchy pants ($20) and a cream-colored scarf, purchased for $6 from a street vendor.
I finished off the look with a pair of brown boots, which blogger buddy Sunita V scored for me at Eat Drink Thrift for around a buck, and a pair of bracelets she gifted me, originally from H&M. I totally can't get over the boots--while I can't make out what brand they are, they definitely say "Italian Leather" on the sole, and they fit like a dream! An amazing find. Head to toe with shoes, the whole look came out to around $28.
