I'm more likely overdressed than under-dressed in most situations, but sometimes the occasion calls for plain, old-fashioned sweats. On Sunday, I helped a friend pack up her apartment and move, so naturally that meant stretchy pants, a worn-in tee and some super comfy shoes.
Since I rarely keep an eye out for stylish sweats when I thrift, I surprised even myself when I realized most of my moving day outfit was thrifted or secondhand. The look consisted of a pair of purple Lululemon leggings and a longsleeve "Fashion's Night Out" (may it RIP) tee, both found at Buy The Bag for just $0.89 a few months ago. I added my United Colors of Benetton slip-on sneakers (Ebay, $14.99), and finished off the look with a black baseball cap ($5) and a black wool hoodie, c/o Icebreaker. Head to toe, the whole laid-back outfit came out to just under $22.
