Hey thrifters! The weather was surprisingly mild this weekend, meaning it was warm enough to go a little lighter on the layering. (Since then, things have gotten considerably snowier, ugh.)
On Saturday, I pulled a black, neoprene peplum jacket I had scored at a Forever 21 sale for $11.50 out of the closet, and paired it with my thrifted floral dress from Goodwill ($10). Even though neoprene is definitely a sportier fabric, the shape of this jacket makes it look chic and dressy for weekend and even work occasions. I finished off the simple Saturday look with a black belt ($6, NY&Co), my black Zara pumps ($25, Rena Reborn) and the vintage, white purse ($0.55, Housing Works Buy The Bag) I last wore here. Head to toe, the full outfit came out to around $53.
And P.S., a reminder for all you thrifters in the NYC area, don't forget to RSVP to this weekend's EAT DRINK THRIFT party at Housing Works' Buy The Bag warehouse. There'll be food, drinks, raffle tickets and all-you-can-thrift bags for just $20! Click here for the deets!
