I can't believe it's almost 2015, which means it's time to go out with the old and in with the new. In my case, this mostly means sorting through my hard drive and doing some serious photo reorganization. While cleaning up all my computer clutter, I stumbled across this look from my pre-Christmas vacay to Miami and wanted to share it before the new year, when I'll likely be struggling under a whole other backlog of outfit photos.
This beach-ready outfit is heavy on the vintage, and I love it. I started off my styling with my fave pair of vintage cutoff shorts (also worn here), which I scored for just $0.85 at Goodwill during a previous Florida visit. I added a vintage lace slip top courtesy of Bum-Cake Vintage, and paired it with a flowy kimono-style top, nabbed for exactly $0 at a friend's clothing swap. (If you missed it, you can check out my interview with vintage maven and Bum-Cake founder Christiana Greene here!)
Taking into consideration my usual $6 sunnies and a pair of basic white sandals (cost unknown), the ensemble came out to just under $7.
