Hey guys! Hope your holiday celebrations were full of fun with friends and fam! I spent some pre-holiday time traveling around Florida with the fiance, flew back to NYC, and then hopped on the train to go upstate and visit the 'rents, so it's been a busy, festive week. But I'm ready to get back from my brief blogging hiatus, and have a backlog of photos to share!
It's tough to transition your wardrobe from a cold climate to hot and then back to cold, and I definitely struggled when it came to packing for each leg of my trip, since all my warm-weather clothes were buried deep under piles of sweaters. So I did my best to keep my Florida looks super easy, starting with this minimalist tank-and-skirt combo.
I scored this thrifted white lace tank at Underground Thrift Store ($1.50, also worn here), and paired it with a gray-and-white striped body-con skirt, which I snagged for free from a friend's clothing swap. I finished off the look with my $5 nude heels from Cauz for Pawz and a pair of $6 sunnies, bringing the whole head-to-toe look to a measly $12.50. Not too shabby!
