Yeah, florals are usually a spring thing, but I love me a dark floral pattern in the wintertime. When I scored this vintage, navy blue-hued floral top from a friend's clothing swap a couple weeks ago, I knew it was perfect for some winter wear this season.
I pulled the top out for the first time on Saturday while running errands in Union Square, pairing it with some dark gray jeans (another free clothing swap find), and my pointy-toed Dorothy Parker ankle boots ($45), which I've been wearing the hell out of lately.
I topped off the look with a navy sweater ($5, Housing Works Gramercy) and a $20 gray coat (also worn here and here!), which I scored at October's Salvation Army Coat Sale, as well as my new $7 hat, a recent Ebay find. With my secondhand $5 bag and $6 sunnies, the whole head to toe look came out to $88.
