Last week, I took a little walk on the wild side with this vintage animal-print button-up, gifted to me by Melissa's Vintage Finds, a new online vintage shop. I'm obsessed with this top for several reasons: First, I love that it blends several different patterns, including what looks to be tiger, leopard and even giraffe prints. (Basically the top three animal prints of all time. So fun.) Second, the faux-leather detailing at the neck and shoulders are totally unique, and give it a funky, modern vibe.
I styled the piece on a somewhat warm-ish day last weekend, opting to play up the leather details by pairing it with my vintage faux-leather midi skirt, purchased for just $2 at Cauz for Pawz (and last worn here!). Since the print plus leather are a whole lot to handle, I kept everything else minimal with my basic Zara pumps ($25, Rena Reborn) and some black sunnies ($1.50, on sale at Forever21). Head to toe, the whole look came out to under $29.
