Hey guys! In case you missed it, I recently wrapped up a fun project with Uncommon Goods, a Brooklyn-based online retailer specializing in unique gifts, decor and accessories, many of which are handmade or sustainably-produced. I can get lost browsing their site for hours, so when they offered me the chance to take over their Instagram for a week, I naturally jumped at the opportunity.
This being my first Instagram takeover, however, I was definitely a little nervous--I was worried my photos wouldn't be up to par, or I wouldn't get enough likes! (#InstagramProblems) But in the end, everything worked out, and I loved getting the chance to exercise my budding photography skills. Plus, getting to use my dog Koko as my model and muse was another fun bonus. :)
Here's a round-up of a few of my fave #UGTakeOver photos, featuring the site's Handmade Lidded Basket Hamper, Wooden Wine Glasses, Crescent Necklace and Waterfall Ring. Be sure to check out @uncommongoods for more!
And P.S.: With the holidays coming up, Uncommon Goods is one of my go-to sites when it comes to shopping for that "person who has everything," since it offers tons of cool, hard-to-find items at all different price points. It's never too early to start putting together that Christmas list! You can find some great holiday picks here and here.
