Chelsea Girl

thrift blog

Hey thrifters! I spent part of my weekend helping a friend film a video project, and since I had to spend some time on camera, I made an effort to look just a litttttle more put together than usual. I pulled a couple to items out that I haven't worn, including this cute tribal-inspired Zara skirt I bought at a friend's closet clean-out sale for $3.

I paired the skirt with a loose bronze-colored top ($2), also from the closet clean-out, and my favorite black hat ($10, from a small shop in Queens), which I wore last year here, here and here, and million other times.

I finished off the look with a couple bangles (gifted), and took my new pair of black Chelsea boots out for a spin. I snagged the boots a couple weeks ago from Dorothy Perkins for just $67 with a 15% discount, which you get when you sign up for the DP newsletter. (The leather pair I purchased are here, but you can also get the exact same ones in faux-leather for $44.) Head to toe, the whole look came out to $82.
