Hey guys! Had a pretty fall-tastic weekend upstate, picking apples and pumpkins, sipping on cider and taking long afternoon naps. So as you can imagine, it's a little tough to be back in the swing of things on this chilly, cloudy morning. But here goes!
If you caught my Fall 2014 lookbook video, you probably already saw this look, featuring a vintage faux-leather midi skirt I purchased at Cauz for Pawz for just $2. I actually bought the skirt nearly a year ago, and it had been sitting in my closet since, totally forgotten about. But when I recently invited blogger buddy Sunita V. over to help me breathe some new life into my closet, she immediately pulled it out of hiding and was inspired to put together this chic look.
She paired the midi skirt with a plain white tank (cost unknown), and dressed it up with an Aztec-print vest I bought on sale at Forever 21 for $11.99 last winter. With the addition of a silver necklace and bag ($4 and $5, scored from a friend's closet clean-out sale) and my nude heels ($5, Cauz for Pawz), the whole head-to-toe look came out to around $28!
And P.S., I'm taking over the Uncommon Goods Instagram this whole week, so be sure to follow @uncommongoods to see what Koko and I get up to! xoxo
