Hey thrifters! I spent the post-holiday weekend back upstate, trying to squeeze in a little more family time before the first full work week of the year. It was a totally pristine winter wonderland at my parents' house, so I tried to snap a few photos before heading back to the ugly gray slush of the city.
Hot off last week's sweater round-up, I decided to rock one of my recent sweater finds--a gray-and-white striped knit found at Unique Thrift Store's 50% off sale on New Year's Day. Originally priced at $6.99, I snagged it for just $3.50. I styled the cozy piece with a $7 cream button-up shirt underneath, and added a black trumpet skirt I found on sale at H&M for $10.
For accessories, I wore a pair of borrowed black booties, plus an old black purse I dug out of my room (cost unknown), and finished off the look with a gold necklace ($10, from a street vendor) and gold bracelet ($1.50, H&M sale). Head to toe, the snow-ready look came out to around $32.
