The past weekend was pretty epic, meaning that Monday's blog post inevitably got pushed back to today (oops!). I kicked things off Friday with a girls night out, joining three of my favorite fashionistas, including fellow blogger Sunita V. She invited us out to see the Pistolette NY fashion show held at Libation in the LES, and afterwards we hit up nearby Spitzer's Corner for some drinks and truffle mac and cheese, among other treats.
I went for a stylish but totally comfortable look, pairing some thrifted faux leather leggings ($4) with a sheer cream-colored top ($7, TJ Maxx), and added some of my fave Buffalo Exchange jewelry finds, including a necklace ($10, last worn here) and my Pamela Love for Topshop earrings, scored for a dollar at BX's Earth Day Sale. For footwear, I opted for a pair of tan ankle boots purchased for just $20 at an end-of-the-season sale at Urban Outfitters last year. Head-to-toe with shoes, the look came out to just $42.
