Happy Friday thrifters! We've had some gorgeous autumn weather here in NYC, which put me in the mood to pull out one of my favorite thrift finds--an emerald green crossbody, scored at Cauz for Pawz for just $4.99. (I last wore it at the start of the summer, here.) Green accessories are reportedly kind of a thing for fall, and while I rarely let fads dictate my wardrobe, it's always nice when the items in your closet just happen to align with the latest seasonal trends.
Since I was dressing for a day at the office, I paired the bag with a gray Banana Republic skirt ($5, last worn here) from the Salvation Army and a floral-printed Zara blouse ($1.50, from Underground Thrift's Stuff A Sack sale). I topped things off with my black blazer ($7.99) and some simple work-appropriate jewelry, plus some classic red lipstick. The outfit, with bag, came out to just under $20, and head-to-toe with shoes ($20, Payless), everything totaled around $40.
