The 90s are definitely on their way back, what with all the overalls, jelly sandals and crop tops popping up this summer. While some of these trends are probably better off left in my elementary school yearbook, one comeback that I've been loving is the 90-style floral print dress. Ebay, Etsy and even Urban Outfitters are all stocking pricier versions of the vintage frocks, but I was lucky enough to snag a cute, daisy-printed number on a recent trip to The Sharing Place Thrift Shop for just $4.50. (Check out more Sharing Place scores here and here!) The dress's skinny straps, sweetheart neckline and slightly flared skirt all combine to epitomize 90s appeal.
I wore the daisy dress to a rooftop cocktail party last week, pairing it with a bright red blazer ($7.49, Forever 21), my favorite black belt ($6, NY&Co.) and a pair of Payless wedges ($20). Head to toe, the whole look came to just $38. The party--hosted by Brugal--was unfortunately preceded by a heavy downpour, but with the help of King & Grove's covered rooftop, we were kept as dry as our Especial Extra Dry rum cocktails.
