Graffiti And Lace

One thing I love about New York--and specifically, Brooklyn--is the endless supply of art. Last week, after drinking and eating at Fatty 'Cue (I recommend the $6 "Recession Special," which consists of a delicious pickleback paired with a PBR tallboy!), I ended the day with a stroll through Williamsburg. While walking, I ran into plenty of graffiti and street art, and snapped a few photos while wearing a white lace tank and some Uniqlo pants, both $1.50 from the recent Stuff A Sack sale at Underground Thrift. With shoes, the casual, head-to-toe look came to just $23.

These Uniqlo pants are super comfy, thanks to their elastic drawstring waist, and they're suspiciously similar to the denim version I picked up at Housing Works last year. In all honesty, this pair was actually tagged as maternity wear at the Stuff A Sack sale, so I'm wondering if I've stumbled upon an amazing new shopping tip. Can't find comfortable pants or jeans? Try the maternity section. Why wait until you're pregnant to enjoy an elastic waistband!?
