One of the best things that warm weather brings is al fresco dining. I'm lucky enough to have Madison Square Park a few blocks away from the office, so on my lunch break I grabbed a fresh smoothie and half sandwich from Chicken Deli (only $5.72 for both, what!) and headed over to eat and people/dog/stroller/flower watch. When spring hits NYC, the park at lunchtime is THE place to be.
I wore the blue shift dress ($1) I scored at the BX Earth Day $1 Sale and topped that with a lightweight white blazer from Forever 21 ($7.49, purchased during an online clearance sale). I also sported my brand new Pamela Love for Topshop earrings ($1, also from the BX sale), which had an original price tag of $120!
Minus the shoes, my outfit total was $9.49. With shoes--which are my leather riding boots from Aldo, purchased on sale for $88--my head-to-toe total is just under $98. Yeah, I know, they aren't a thrifted steal, but let's be honest--most of us cold climate dwellers know that finding the perfect pair of boots is pretty much priceless.
