Hey thrifters! I'm back from the holiday vacay, refreshed and ready to usher in the new year. I spent a few days upstate with family and a few friends, including Sunita V, and we decided to take advantage of the post-snowfall landscape and snap a few pics in the apple orchard.
For the relaxed weekend, I wore a pair of tights and high-waisted denim cutoffs ($0.85), which I DIY-ed from a pair of Lee brand "mom shorts" I scored at the Orlando Goodwill this fall. I paired the shorts with a basic black sweatshirt (old, cost unknown), and added a buffalo plaid vest found at Cauz for Pawz for $3. I finished off the look with my $10 black hat, some black booties borrowed from my mom's shoe collection, and a pair of black sunglasses ($2, on sale at Forever 21). Since it was freezing out, I topped off with Sunita's gorgeous, vintage maroon coat, which she found at December's Salvation Army Coat Sale for just $15. Head-to-toe, the full look came out to just around $31.
