My dog, Koko, absolutely loves apples--as in, they're probably her favorite thing in the whole world. Incidentally, my parents' home in upstate NY overlaps with a huge apple orchard, and so Koko is always on cloud nine when we visit during the fall harvest season.
Koko and I headed to the orchard last weekend, and enjoyed some gorgeous fall weather and all-you-can-eat Red Delicious apples. And because my parents' backyard is perfectly picturesque, I decided to squeeze in an outfit photoshoot too.
I wore my vintage, pleated wool skirt from Goodwill ($4.99, last worn here) and the sheer, cream-colored top ($7, TJ Maxx) I've been rocking non-stop lately. I accessorized the look with a thrifted gold bracelet ($1) that I've had forever, a quilted DKNY bag (borrowed from mi madre) and a vintage scarf ($3, St. George's Thrift Shop) that I tied in a messy bow. The outfit came out to around $16, and head-to-toe with shoes ($20, TJ Maxx), everything was just $36.
