Hi, I'm Christina.

Ask me how much my outfit cost.
Or don't.
I'll probably still tell you.

New York City thrift stores aren’t for the faint-hearted—they can be full of unwashed inventory, smell like your grandma's attic and run a slightly higher-than-normal risk of bedbugs (eek!). If just reading that gave you palpitations, I suggest you turn around and head back to the safe world of carefully curated vintage shops and online flash sales. But if you’re chasing a more extreme discount high, you may just have the brave soul and keen eye needed to venture beyond the retail racks.

How did I become an NYC thrifter? Here's my story.
